The Kidosaki House, by Tadao Ando
Located near Tokyo, Japan, this single-family dwelling designed by Tadao Ando is minimalistic in plan as well as aesthetically. Designed to emphasize peace and serenity through cool simplicity, Ando uses concrete blocks throughout the entire building. Isolated spaces create unique environments and interior courtyards that separate the owners from the commotion that could arise beyond the property.
