ARCH 2402 examines the underlying strategies, tactics and techniques of fundamental design in relation to site and program. Emphasis is placed on developing a systematic approach to architectural design while simultaneously understanding precedent with the development of design theory and intellectual inquiry. Proficiency in architectural design is acquired through focused iteration. The studio reinforces and develops the architectural design issues introduced in 2401.
