Connect to the TTUnet wifi
Right-click on the Windows icon, and choose run
Connect to archprint
Login with your TTU email address and password
Open the drivers folder
Open the printers folder
Copy the install file to your desktop
If you see this warning, click OK
Right-click on the install file on your desktop, choose run as administrator
Click yes
If prompted, log in again. When you type your password, you won't see anything on the screen. Press enter after typing it in.
If you make a mistake, it will prompt you again
Once the process starts, it may take 5 to 10 minutes depending on WiFi speeds
A progress report will print in the window as the software is downloaded and installed on your computer. Any errors can be ignored.
Additional windows may appear while the software is installing.
When it is finished, you can close the window and delete the install file from your desktop.
The printers are now installed
One application has been installed which starts with your computer.
The Pcounter Popup software prompts you to log in and confirm each print job.
The application is an icon near the clock which looks like a printer. If you don't see a popup window when you print, confirm this software is running.
You can run the software again without logging off by opening the folder c:\program files (x86)\pcounter
Double-click pcounterclient_laptops to start the program
If you see this prompt when your computer starts, click yes.
Click on the preferences icon
Uncheck show notifications
