Project One

Lamp with "Found" and/or Industrial Materials

Given: Tuesday February 6, 2020
Due: Thursday Febraury 27, 2020

Project Description:
Design and build a lamp with used, found/industrial materials. You are free to design! Anything goes, as long as the lamp can be switched on and off, it has to be safe and the materials you choose did not cost more than a total of $30.

Students enrolled in the ddf program receive ddf credit. These students are highly encouraged engage and use the digital fabrication methods in the design process.

This can be a reading lamp, ambient lamp, floor lamp, and so forth. It is upon to you to choose for what occasion it is designed for.
Keep your receipts of your material purchases.

Grading Criteria:
Innovation of the Design
Creative use of Materials
Craftsmanship and overall tectonic quality.
